What are the existing types of facial peeling?
Superficial facial peel: This type of facial peel is, as its name indicates, the shallowest of all. Removes the outer layer of skin (epidermis). To be more accurate, remove about 0.06 millimeters of skin (the same amount that falls off your skin when you get sunburned).
Medium Facial Peel – This type of facial peel is a slightly deeper and more specialized peel, ranging between 0.45 and 0.6 mm deep. That is why it no longer only affects the epidermis, but also penetrates the middle layer of the skin (dermis).
Deep Facial Peel – This is the deepest type of facial peel and is not easily recommended. This is because it not only eliminates cells from the epidermis, but also affects the lower layer of the dermis. Its depth ranges between 0.6 and 0.8 mm.
